I promise to not sell it on ebay and test it for you if you donate one!

Zehly, if you would like, I would be happy to help you figure it out.

If you would like physical help, though, you'd have to fly your crew out to Madison, WI, as I'm not movin' .

Extreme cooling is fun...I have some crazy ideas for a 24/7 silent sub-ambient cooling setup that I might implement when I get a couple hundred dollars to blow on random experimentation.

Also, SOT, as long as you're aware of what you are doing, there is virtually no risk involved. The trick is actually researching and being knowledgable about the subject (and that goes for more than just overclocking).

I just use university general research funding and a few sneaky sources for my funds.

Give me ideas to try out.. I'll give you feedback

I suggest you trying to make a duct or vent area that basically attracts thermal heat out of the system into an area. Sounds cool eh? >_<

And dual-core CPU's are not very good OC'ers, not like the Prescott's and such are.

Nah, it's just an investment. If zehly and her merry band stumble across anything cool, the prof takes all the credit and gets rich off the book she'll be in charge of writing for him.

At least that's how it worked in the history department at my college. Grad students do all the grunt work, prof puts his name on the book, and gets fat checks. The grad students... get more grunt work.
